Serving as the opening entry in their next artistic chapter, the track effortlessly balances soaring, sun-drenched guitar pop with an understated emotional weight.
Instead of leaning into comfortable tropes, the quartet turn their gaze inward. ‘Flight Path’ grapples with the unseen friction of early adulthood—navigating creative stagnation, shifting self-belief, and the instinctual pull to retreat from the world’s noise when everything becomes a little too loud. Musically, it is a striking step forward: bright, layered melodies float over a pulsing rhythm section, masking a deeply introspective core that hits straight in the chest.
Speaking candidly about the single’s origins, the band shared:
"'Flight Path' is first and foremost about writer's block, but it’s framed in a few different ways. It’s actually the product of two very different demos that were merged in an effort to relieve a particularly long stretch of non-writing. This song is about so many things; losing confidence as you grow up, wanting to go home and hide from the world, struggling to be honest. It’s a very troubling mosaic of thoughts and feelings that bubble away in the background of life, coming to the surface all at once."
The release arrives on the heels of a massive year.
