Sydney-based electronic producer Yes Boone has stepped into a high-octane new era with his latest single, ‘Nosebleeds’. Marking his debut release under a global dual-label deal with Warner Music Australia and Warner Records US, the track sees the multi-talented artist broaden his palette by stepping up to the microphone himself.
‘Nosebleeds’ fuses the driving, energetic pulse of French house with a moodier edge rooted in classic British post-punk. Drawing inspiration from influential outfits like The Cure and The Smiths, the song blends rhythmic danceable grooves with raw, expressive vocal lines.
Opening up about the creative inspiration behind the track, Yes Boone explained: “'Nosebleeds' is about the infatuation you feel early on in a relationship, and all the dramatic uncertainty that comes with it. There’s something theatrical about it that I’m trying to capture with the music. I wrote it during a period in London and Paris, which feels like the respective homes of the vocal style and the production choices. It took a little while to find my voice, to sing on my own tracks, and to put my own words to the music for the first time.”
The announcement of his signing was originally revealed to industry guests during Warner Music Australia’s annual Listen Up Showcase, where he performed an unannounced DJ set to premiere the release. Reflecting on the new partnership, the producer shared: “The new music is a new and bold step for me, and it’s been amazing to have the Australian and International Warner Music teams come onto the project and immediately understand, and amplify what I’m working towards”.

Having built momentum following his 2025 debut EP 'Best I’ve Found' and breakout single ‘All I Really Want’, Yes Boone continues his ascent on the festival circuit with upcoming performances set for Spilt Milk and Wollongong’s Yours & Owls.
