Fresh off a whirlwind global circuit that saw them conquer Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and sweeping headline dates across the US, Fremantle indie icons Spacey Jane have delivered a surprise drop for fans. The band have unleashed their new live concert film and album, 'Live At The Hordern Pavilion', capturing the electrifying energy of their sold-out Sydney run during the 'If That Makes Sense' tour.
Initially pressed as a limited vinyl release for Record Store Day, the project gets a full digital rollout today. Visually spearheaded by ARIA-nominated, LA-based director Dan Lesser alongside acclaimed photographer Charlie Hardy as Live Camera Director, the film brings audiences right to the front row.
"We’ve dreamed about shows like these since before we started this band," share Spacey Jane. "We’re so glad we captured this weekend and that we can share it with the world – it's etched into our brains forever. This release lands right on the heels of June’s six-track EP, 'Exit Wounds'—featuring singles like ‘Do You Really Love Her’ and ‘East Village’—and their critically acclaimed third album, 'If That Makes Sense'. Produced by Mike Crossey, that record snagged two ARIA nods and helped secure the quartet’s spot as triple j’s most played artist.
The live package sets the scene for their upcoming summer tour across Australia, featuring double nights in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, alongside stops at Adelaide’s The Drive and the iconic Sydney Opera House steps. Support comes from Telenova and Armlock.
