It is incredibly easy to let the chaotic blur of modern daily routines overshadow the magic of the present. UK indie artist Euplasia built his latest soaring single, ‘Forever Remember’, as an urgent antidote to that exact problem. Dropping on October 9th, the track acts as a widescreen musical prompt to appreciate the “good old days” whilst you are actually living through them.
Balancing a career in medicine and the whirlwind of fatherhood, Euplasia has consistently used songwriting to process the absurdity and beauty of everyday existence. This grounded perspective is woven deeply into his growing catalogue, paving the way for his highly anticipated debut album, You Wonder, scheduled for release this winter. ‘Forever Remember’ serves as a vibrant preview of what to expect, merging classic British rock energy with an empathetic, human core.
Sonically, the single boasts a colourful arrangement of warm acoustic textures, driving guitars, and atmospheric synths that erupt into a massive, open-road chorus. The artist jokingly labels the track “the song Oasis forgot to release”, a highly appropriate nod to its undeniable Britpop DNA and effortless melodic swagger.
The concept for the anthem was sparked during a family holiday, rooted in the realisation that our finest moments often slip into memories before we recognise their true weight. As Euplasia explains, “The song is a reminder to notice life while it is happening – to appreciate the people around you, live with freedom and integrity, and resist the temptation to let routine make extraordinary moments feel ordinary.”
This ethos shines brightly in the track's expansive, nostalgic lyrics, leaning on nature and human moments to deliver lines like, “Look around, it's all you need, being here now, feeling free, take it in all you can see, living in the moment, what will be will be, I hear the nature calling, I see the water falling, I feel the power of the little things, these are the days that we’ll never replace…”
If you need a brilliant excuse to hit pause on life's rapid pace, be sure to stream ‘Forever Remember’ on your favourite digital platforms right now. Don't forget to follow Euplasia across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to catch all the latest updates ahead of his forthcoming album.
