Following a massive run of viral successes, British pop sensation Erin Bloomer makes a triumphant return with her tongue-in-cheek new track, ‘Ride A Cowboy (Save A Horse)’. Amassing over 100 million streams, earning spots on 45,000 playlists, and building a loyal following, the rising artist has cemented her position as a standout voice in contemporary pop.
Inspired by pop heavyweights like Kim Petras, Britney Spears, ADÉLA, and Lady Gaga, Bloomer previously captured Gen Z's attention with her viral anthem ‘F U & F Her Too’. Her 2025 EP ‘Girls Gotta Eat’ delivered an undeniable dose of empowering female energy, establishing her knack for transforming relatable moments into infectious pop cuts.
Marking her first release of 2026, ‘Ride A Cowboy (Save A Horse)’ kicks off an ambitious drop schedule running through Spring 2027, laying the groundwork for a packed summer festival run. High-energy production meets a spoken-word chorus as Bloomer embraces Americana tropes with a playful, sharp edge.
Reflecting on the track, Bloomer shared: “Honestly, with ‘Ride A Cowboy (Save A Horse)’ I just felt like writing something a bit more cheeky and fun for a change. I saw that catchphrase before somewhere and just thought “this would be hilarious to write a song about.” I think I’ve mastered the “F you” kind of tracks so it was really fun to play around with something else and it turns out I love it!!”
She continued, “The original idea came from me becoming obsessed with the TV series Yellow Stone and after watching that I knew I needed to write a cowboy song. The people needed a bit of that cheekiness, and it begs the final question: “how long can you stay on for?” The recording process was great fun, as I was working with the same fabulous producer Justin Tailor, also known as Hoost, that I worked on my last EP with. It was interesting because we had re-worked a lot of my songs together but never started one from scratch until we wrote ‘Ride A Cowboy (Save A Horse)’ and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. I wanted to make sure I got in as many American and cowboy references as I could because that world is so interesting to me.”
‘Ride A Cowboy (Save A Horse)’ is available to stream across all major platforms now. Make sure to keep up with Erin Bloomer across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X for upcoming release announcements and live tour updates.
