At 16, Giselle Niemand is already building an international career that crosses borders and creative disciplines. The South African singer, songwriter, actress, model and dancer is preparing to leave the country next week for Germany before travelling to France and South Korea.
Her European leg will take her to Paris Fashion Week, where she will be part of the Africa In Paris showcase from 2 to 4 October 2026. Presented by Africa Fashion Week in collaboration with Noir Fashion Week Paris, the showcase will feature African fashion talent in the French capital.
Giselle will walk for New Romantics Couture, representing the South African fashion house on the international runway following its success at Africa Fashion Week last year. Then, on 5 October, she will leave France for Seoul, South Korea. There, she is scheduled to perform at the 2026 Itaewon World Music Spirit Festival, moving from the world of fashion into an international music environment within days.
Giselle was invited to the festival's final round after organisers reviewed her submitted performance material during preliminary screening. Her performance will be part of a programme featuring artists from different countries.
The festival will also provide accommodation, sightseeing and a VIP Korean beauty and food package, with her performance expected to be filmed for international distribution. Giselle's upcoming trip builds on previous international experiences, including performances in the United States and United Arab Emirates and an appearance at New York Fashion Week.
Germany, Paris and Seoul will now become the next three stops in a journey that continues to combine her passions for music, fashion, acting, modelling and dance.
