Brisbane alternative rock force In Constance have officially revealed plans for their upcoming ‘Live Everything Tour’. The multi-city run is scheduled to celebrate the arrival of their latest EP, 'Live Everything', promising to bring their deeply atmospheric and captivating stage presence to venues across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, and Newcastle.
The seven-track extended play represents a true labour of love for the band, earning widespread critical acclaim from both regional and national tastemakers. Pre-release singles ‘Fairytale’, ‘Hiding’, and ‘Harmony’ struck a chord across the industry, securing coveted spots on Apple Music’s New in Rock and New in Alternative editorial playlists, alongside passionate support from triple j Unearthed, FBi Radio, 4ZZZ, UCFM, Good Call Live, and here on Broken 8. The collective also established their live credentials early on, performing to a packed-out crowd at Brisbane's Black Bear Lodge whilst providing main support for Kodiak Empire.
A major highlight of the tour will be the official hometown EP launch on Saturday 20 June at Brisbane's PFR Lounge, which is shaping up to be an unmissable evening for music fans. The group has designed a completely bespoke, one-off performance for the night, incorporating exclusive, custom-tailored soundscapes designed to accompany the performance of 'Live Everything' in its entirety.
Reflecting on the raw emotional origins of the material, guitarist Jordan Bain shared, “These were some of the first songs I ever wrote while working through one of the darkest times of my life. I could barely play guitar at the time.”
In Constance boasts a sophisticated lineup of seasoned musicians, each possessing a deep well of industry experience. Bain has previously hit the road with Tia Gostelow and lent his engineering talents to projects for Jaguar Jonze and Hope D. Meanwhile, guitarist Harry Verity has shared stages with progressive heavyweights Caligula's Horse and US outfit I See Stars, whilst drummer Dave Smith has toured globally, performing alongside international giants like Story of the Year, Flyleaf, and Funeral for a Friend.
the band will be playing shows across Queensland and Newcastle over the next month, including spots at The Presynct, PFR Lounge, Banshees Bar, and Hamilton Station Hotel.
