Jannah Beth Embraces the Cosmic Flow with New Album

After years of nurturing the creative pulse of others, Jannah Beth is finally stepping back into her own light. The arrival of her debut album, ‘Orbits & Echoes’, a seven-track odyssey that signals a profound evolution in her journey as a songwriter and collaborator.

The record surfaces after a period of quiet reflection. Since founding the artist-led hub Offbeat Collective in 2021, Jannah has been a cornerstone of the NSW creative community. However, rediscovering her own voice required a change of pace. Rather than forcing the pen to paper, she let the music breathe, allowing the project to manifest through instinct and a deep connection to her surroundings.

The heart of the release is ‘moonbaby’, a track that perfectly encapsulates the album’s celestial DNA. Co-produced with Andrew Meyer and Jeauneil, the song marries sleek, UK-inspired production with lyrics that feel like a whispered secret. There is a deep, astrological gravity here; both Jannah and Meyer are Cancers, and that shared lunar sensitivity anchors the track’s themes of interstellar longing and cosmic energy.

The album’s creation was equally fluid. During a ten-day stint with Meyer across Offbeat Studios and Bigpop Studios in Aotearoa, the pair followed a "path of least resistance" approach, capturing whatever felt most alive in the moment. These sessions were later polished in the Blue Mountains with Jeauneil, where subtle reharmonisations and structural shifts turned raw experiments into the cohesive body of work we hear today.

As a Scottish–Irish settler on Gadigal lands and a first-generation Australian, Jannah’s music has always been defined by a sense of movement. From the rhythmic repetition of her earlier work to the cinematic storytelling found in ‘Orbits & Echoes’, she remains an artist who favours the journey over the destination.

Fans won’t have to wait long to experience the new material live. Jannah will host an intimate album launch at Offbeat Collective in Sydney on 9 May. This comes ahead of a massive European milestone in June, where she is set to showcase at the inaugural SXSW London as part of the ONE OFF TRAKS x New Gen Artistry stage.
