Blush. Unveil Dreamy New Single ‘Seasons’

The misty landscapes of Victoria, BC, have always been a fertile breeding ground for introspective indie, and the latest offering from Blush. feels like a definitive love letter to that coastal chill. The alt-indie outfit have officially shared 'Seasons', a track that trades urgency for atmosphere, serving as a shimmering portal into their upcoming EP, 'In The Grey'.

Leaning heavily into a rich tapestry of 90s-influenced textures, 'Seasons' is a gorgeous showing of melodic restraint. It moves with a patient, unhurried grace, anchored by airy guitar lines and a rhythmic pulse that feels more like a heartbeat than a drum track. There is a distinct, lo-fi warmth to the production—a hazy, shoegaze glow that evokes the feeling of a half-forgotten memory. It’s the kind of music that demands you sit still, find a window, and simply watch the world go by.

The single arrives alongside a beautifully curated video that perfectly encapsulates the song's ethereal DNA. Utilising soft-focus cinematography and a palette of muted tones, the visuals feel less like a structured narrative and more like a series of fleeting, stitched-together moments. It captures the essence of being suspended between waking life and a dream, mirroring the track’s internal monologue of quiet reflection.

“‘Seasons’ feels like a dream that just keeps looping,” explains lead vocalist and guitarist Anton Wilson. “I think this song speaks pretty strongly to our roots as a band. It reminds me of picnic jam sessions in the park, it reminds me to take a breath, and it reminds me to never stop chasing.”

Since the release of their 2024 debut EP, 'Still Wet', Blush. have been busy refining a sound that effortlessly bridges the gap between crunchy, 90s rock grit and haunting electronic elements. With 'In The Grey' scheduled for release on 1 May, the band are set to explore the full spectrum of their capabilities, promising a collection that finds them at their most powerful and their most vulnerable.

'Seasons' is available to stream now via Spotify, Apple Music, and all major digital platforms. For further updates on the new EP and upcoming live dates, head over to the band's website, or catch them on Instagram and TikTok.
