The Antenna Tribe and Silke Return with 'A Million Little Pieces'

Los Angeles-based musician and producer Sean Whalen, the mastermind behind The Antenna Tribe, is back in the spotlight, bringing to light a new single and news of an upcoming album. It’s a welcome return, and one we’ve become instantly obsessed with. Titled ‘A MILLION LITTLE PIECES’, the new single is a dizzying electronic cut that signals the start of a brilliant new chapter.

Sean started releasing his unique brand of music back in 2021 after a period spent working on projects with various gifted singer-songwriters. The result was a sound characterised by "lush, evocative soundscapes scoring meditative moods with gorgeous layering," and it’s a style that has seen The Antenna Tribe release well over two dozen singles across collaborations with vocalists glasscat, Okafuwa, and, most notably, Silke. After a brief pause, 2023 saw The Antenna Tribe return to form, culminating in a full-length album celebrating the fruitful work with Silke.

The team-up has proven so successful that Sean and Silke have already completed a brand new 15-track album, ‘PIECES’, due to drop in December 2025. The first taste of this new project is the freshly released single, ‘A MILLION LITTLE PIECES’, which finds The Antenna Tribe armed with a noticeably energised style.

The new single is a welcome return for the duo, presenting electronic music that flows freely over slick pop melodies and perfectly styled, gorgeous pulsating beats. The music is a stunning backdrop for Silke’s vocals, which flow with an easy grace. The production is constantly shifting and flowing with industrial dynamics; it’s a progressive sound that moves through haunting, almost ethereal notes which glide fleetingly throughout the steady, rhythmic feel of the track. Silke’s delivery has a cinematic vibe that provides an extra layer of depth, offering a touch of Bond theme drama and creating deep, evocative moments.

Lyrically, the track, penned by Miz Agata, takes a sharp aim at modern society’s pitfalls, lashing out with barbed lines that hit home, such as, “everybody’s too distracted, brains are rotten, wishing we could be distracted, move away to somewhere safe.” There's a hypnotic quality to the repeated refrains and sweeping vocal lines that makes the message stick.

‘A MILLION LITTLE PIECES’ is a strong indication that this partnership is only getting better. With the full album, ‘PIECES’, on the horizon and Whalen continually seeking out new collaborations, The Antenna Tribe’s future looks incredibly exciting.
