Stella Lefty’s Dreamworld: The Unstoppable Rise of 'Is This Heaven?'

Stella Lefty’s Dreamworld: The Unstoppable Rise of 'Is This Heaven?'

Stella Lefty isn't just climbing the charts; she is completely reshaping them. The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has officially dropped her highly anticipated EP, 'Is This Heaven?', out now via Atlantic Outpost. Melding bittersweet nostalgia with the crisp, butterflies-in-your-stomach rush of new romance, the collection cements Lefty as one of the most compelling new voices in modern music.

At the heart of the EP is the standout focus track, ‘Something to Lose’, a beautifully tender collaboration with country artist Vincent Mason. From there, Lefty seamlessly pivots into ‘Why Wouldn’t We’, a sun-drenched, infectious anthem that mirrors the early, sparkling energy of Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. The rest of the project rounds out beautifully with acoustic-led gems like ‘Slow Dancin’ and ‘Thinkin ‘bout You’, alongside the massive pre-released singles that kickstarted her meteoric rise.

To say Lefty is having a moment is an understatement. Her breakout hit ‘Boston’ has surged past 70 million streams, climbing to number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and crashing into the UK Official Singles Chart at number 38. Meanwhile, ‘I Know I Know’ continues to rack up a staggering 600,000 daily streams, pushing her total global footprint beyond the 160 million mark.

For Lefty, the whirlwind success still feels delightfully surreal:

“‘Is this heaven?’ No, it’s Iowa.’ I love this quote from my favourite movie, ‘Field of Dreams’. It’s the perfect way to sum up everything I’ve been doing lately,” Stella shares. “I never believed that people could connect with my songs like this. It feels like heaven to me. I feel like I’m in a dream, and I just want to stay asleep a little longer so I can keep living in this moment. The music feels the most ME it’s ever been.”

That authentic connection is translating heavily to the stage. After cutting her teeth on the road with acts like Jessie Murph and Wyatt Flores, Lefty’s recent headline debut at LA’s Moroccan Lounge sold out in a mere five minutes. With an upcoming summer slot supporting Tucker Wetmore and massive festival appearances lined up for CMA Fest, Osheaga, and Lollapalooza, Lefty's dream is only getting bigger.

'Is This Heaven?' is available to stream on all major platforms right now. Dive into the EP today, and make sure to follow Stella Lefty on Instagram and TikTok for live updates, behind-the-scenes content, and upcoming UK tour announcements.
