Blusher Keeps the Party Moving With New Remix EP, 'Rager'

The relentless pace of Melbourne’s premier pop trio shows no signs of slowing. Fresh from a massive 2025 that saw them dominate global stages, Blusher—comprised of the multi-talented Jade Ingvarson-Favretto, Lauren Coutts, and Miranda Ward—have today dropped their latest project, the 'rager' EP, via Warner Music Australia and Atlantic Records.

Acting as a high-octane sibling to last year’s critically adored RACER EP, this new collection sees the group stepping behind the desk to reimagine their own hits. The release is anchored by the brand-new title track, 'rager', a neon-soaked anthem that fuses Y2K nostalgia with a relentless, chant-ready energy. For those who prefer a physical keepsake, the band has also launched a limited edition two-disc CD set featuring both the original 'RACER' tracks and these new club-ready flips.

“The remixes on 'rager' are kind of like you’re on a car ride where the three of us each take turns on the aux. We’re all music and production nerds at heart,” the band explains. “We’re really creatively inspired by the idea of breaking a song down into its parts and reimagining it for a different purpose or place – it started out as us wanting versions of our songs we could play when we DJ. There’s a lot of influence from house, garage, electro, and hyperpop in these versions, and it felt cool to really lean into our individual tastes and personalities. If 'RACER' convinced you to go out, 'rager' is your soundtrack to what happens next.”

The timing couldn’t be better. The "ones to watch" are currently in the midst of a whirlwind festival run, taking their synchronised choreography and shimmering synths to Laneway Festival. After hitting the Gold Coast and Sydney this weekend, they’ll bring the party home to Melbourne next week, sharing the bill with heavyweights like Chappell Roan and PinkPantheress.

But the glitter doesn’t stop there. Later this month, Blusher will join pop icon Kesha as the official support for her sold-out Tits Out Australian Tour. Having already left their mark on Kesha's discography with their official remix of 'Glow' last month, the trio is set to bring their "angry sparkly pop chaos" to arenas in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth.

You can get tickets for the tour now, and for more from Blusher, find them today on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
