Thanks for joining us today! Where did your musical journey begin, and what inspired you to start making music?
“I first started making music at a very young age. It all began in my neighbourhood, where music was a part of everyday life—street rhythms, church choirs, and the sound of Afrobeat legends blasting from speakers. I was surrounded by melodies, and before I knew it, I was writing my own lyrics and experimenting with my voice. What inspired me most was the power of music to connect people.”
“I saw how a single song could lift spirits, heal hearts, or bring an entire crowd together. That magic stayed with me. Over time, I realised music wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was my calling. Every step since then has been driven by passion, growth, and the desire to tell stories people can feel.”
Could you tell us a bit about 'Letter to My Wife' and what the song means to you?
“My new song was inspired by John Legend’s ‘All of Me’. That song has a timeless sincerity—pure emotion, pure devotion. The way John Legend poured his heart into every word made me want to create something just as honest and meaningful. I wanted to capture that same depth of love and translate it into my own story, my own sound. That inspiration helped shape the soul of ‘Letter to My Wife’.”
Were there any key experiences or artists that influenced you while writing this release?
“Yes, definitely. John Legend’s ‘All of Me’ inspired me with its raw honesty, pushing me to be more vulnerable in ‘Letter to My Wife’. Real-life moments—quiet conversations, shared challenges, and deep connections—shaped the lyrics, reminding me that love is about commitment and growth. I quietly aspire to marry my queen someday, and that hope lives in every note of this song.”
What are your aspirations as an artist, and where do you see yourself in the next few years?
“Looking ahead, I want to make music that truly connects with people and keeps growing as an artist. Personally, I hope to build a life full of love and purpose—I quietly aspire to marry my queen someday. In the next few years, I aim to inspire others through both my music and the life I live.”
What is next for you following this single release?
“After this release, it’s all about ‘Lagos 2 London’. My second album drops soon, and I’m focused on giving it my all—no breaks, no limits. Fans can expect fresh music, collaborations, and exciting projects with Joezy and 22 Santino as part of Yeye Boiz.”
What sort of reception has ‘Letter to My Wife’ had so far?
“The reception to ‘Letter to My Wife’ has been amazing—fans are really connecting with the emotion and honesty in the song. A memorable moment will be our listening party in Lincoln on 12/12/2025, where I’ll share the track with close friends before the full album drops. I can’t wait to see their reactions and feel that energy firsthand—it’s going to be unforgettable.”
Is there anything you would like to say to your audience, and how can they support you?
“To everyone listening, I just want to say thank you for supporting me and believing in my music.
