Building on the organic international traction of their 2023 release ‘Brand New Day’—which earned the independent act an unexpected fanbase in Finland—this latest single proves the pair are steadily refining a signature sound rooted in real instrumentation and melodic grit.
At its core, the track addresses modern social tension without slipping into heavy-handedness or political preachiness. Instead, Daniel’s guitar-driven arrangements provide a solid, traditional foundation for Jeannie’s expressive vocal delivery. That refusal to adopt a partisan stance gives the single a refreshing, universal appeal. “This isn’t really a political song. It’s a human song. We wanted to remind people that you don’t have to agree with someone about everything to recognise their humanity. At the end of the day, there’s far more that connects us than separates us,” they added.
