If you have been keeping an ear to the ground for fresh, contemporary soul and jazz, you might want to turn your attention to Tara-Ve. The latest creation to emerge from the studio of songwriter and producer Jerry Phillips Jr., Tara-Ve isn't your everyday vocalist. She is an Intelligent Entertainer (IE), an AI music artist who brings a new dimension to the Jerry Phillips Jr Music roster.
Presented as a confident African-American woman in her mid-fifties with a distinctive and elegant bald aesthetic, Tara-Ve channels deeply human themes of love, resilience, and self-worth. Her musical direction is turned towards R&B, jazz, and contemporary soul, blending it into a cohesive sonic identity. Through this digital persona, Phillips brings his own creative vision to life, offering listeners heartfelt storytelling that celebrates personal growth, inner courage, and the beauty of new beginnings.
One of her latest releases, 'I Love Hard', perfectly encapsulates this highly expressive style. Built around a beautifully soft, jazz ballad structure, the track weaves Tara-Ve's rich vocal delivery through a lush tapestry of backing harmonies and smooth beats. It is a wonderfully emotive listen, capturing a deeply romantic soundscape driven by gently tempered percussion and the lingering, atmospheric warmth of a saxophone. Rather than simply showcasing technical production, the song deliberately invites audiences to connect with the genuine feeling and vulnerability embedded in every single note.
'I Love Hard' arrives alongside four other carefully curated songs assembled by Jerry Phillips Jr Music, including the poignant, standout tracks 'My Worth' and 'Dreamer'. As the boundaries between technology and traditional artistry continue to blur in modern music, this project illustrates how modern platforms can give a voice to carefully crafted songs.
