Bloods Reclaim Their Crown with A New Single and Debut Reissue

After more than a decade of setting the pace for Australia’s underground punk scene, Bloods are officially back. The Sydney-based outfit has just unveiled their latest single, 'All My Friends', landing alongside a digital reissue of their seminal 2013 debut EP, Golden Fang. Released via the non-profit label Share It Music, the March 6 arrival marks the first time the EP has ever been available on streaming platforms.

While 'Golden Fang' remains a masterclass in raw, hook-heavy punk, 'All My Friends' finds the band channelling their urgency into a vital contemporary cause. The track was penned as a direct response to the femicide crisis in Australia, yet it chooses celebration over despair. It is a heartfelt tribute to the strength found in the ordinary moments of womanhood.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, lead singer MC explains: “I wanted to write a song that captured the things the women I love might not even realise make them incredible to me. The tiny details that make them human are what make them beautiful. I started with the superficial and moved into the more literal with each verse - every element of these incredible women coming together to paint a portrait of people who deserve love, respect, and most of all, safety.”

The track arrives with a stunning music video directed by Sofia Albinelli, further cementing the band’s reputation for visual storytelling. True to their ethos, Bloods are using the release to drive real-world change; a portion of the proceeds will benefit Moving Out Moving On (MOMO), a New South Wales-based service providing essential support to those escaping domestic violence.

Revisiting 'Golden Fang' in 2026 serves as a reminder of why Bloods were so revolutionary at their inception. Emerging as a female-led band fronted by two women of colour, they disrupted a largely homogeneous scene with an unfiltered perspective that still feels incredibly fresh.

In the years since, the band has become a global sync powerhouse, with their tracks appearing in hit series like grown-ish and Trinkets, as well as films such as Babes. This latest chapter proves that whether they are looking back at their roots or tackling the systemic issues of today, Bloods remain one of the most culturally relevant voices in punk.

You can stream the new single above and 'Golden Fang' on all your favourite streaming services.
